Ah yes, the Van Veen. I agree. If I had one of them in my garage I would be proud to take her out at special occasions!

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Honda Pacific Coast, I can't give you a reason really..erm because it's so practical and space age looking, the two wheel version of the fun bus in the picture.

I think it's because I grew up with stingray and Thunderbirds and shit, it's kind of a vision of the future that never really arrived. I don't suppose anyone remembers the hover bikes in fireball XL5 do they....nah, jeez I'm getting old.

Dude. I know where you are coming from (but I have not been there) and I respect it. And after all, this thread is just about these thingies! But shit, surely you realise that it is a overgrown scooter?

'Tis not. It is a space age hover bike with wheels I just thought of another two though, the Suzi RE5 and GT750? The Kettle and the wankel, both a bit pointless and weird but I likes em.

Much like EJK's Honda DN-01 - the predecessor to it, even? Except it looks like it's a manual, where IIRC the DN-01 is an automatic.

How about this one - I'm not particularly keen on the bike itself, but I like the engine:

Looking at those pics, it's much less a scooter and more like a downsized Goldwing. Not for me either.

I want a Repsol CBR1000RR, and no, I'm not gay. I'm perfectly straight and I'm not confused at all about my sexuality. I don't walk around dressed in womans clothes either.
My mates all say that I will kill myself on a quick bike.

The problem with seeing photos of bikes is that it doesnt really do it justice. Bikes that I have previously thought were hideous turn out to be quite awesome in the flesh, especially when you add that "sound" factor or even the experience of riding one for yourself, your mind can be changed.
People have said some rather rude things about my Gladys. But when they see her in the flesh, or even take it for a spin, they generally have a change of heart.
