I went and got a CBR MC22...thought it fast as the first month or two, stacked it twice, then wanted more speed and worked the motor.

Aww don't encourage him. You don't have to worry about NIMBY as his address seems to be slap bang in the middle of Christchurch Uni which is in My Backyard ... well same city anyway.

As everyone is giving MattRSK advice I better too. "Before one runs, one must learn to walk".

Not saying they are, Ive also had a ninja a bandit and a gsxr400 for a while, all I'm saying is that you're not necessarily going to crash like alot on here seem to think.

The fastest 250 you can buy, stock standard, is a Kawasaki KR1-S/R.

Go get one of those, it will make you cool.

Better than that, buy 3. That way hopefully at least one of them is working.

the zxr250c is the fastest, its got FAR better susspension, brakes i think are on par with the mc22, but im not 100% sure as the mc22 has brilliant brakes.

Round a track a well maintained zxr should be slightly quicker.

But just get what ever turns you on, as the differance is moot.

If you go zxr make sure the cam chain has been replaced recently, if not, get it done.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    I got my CBR250 before I got my 6L. I've now got a 6R, and 10,000km after I bought it I haven't stacked it.

I'm assuming that you've had a lot of crashes then?
