Man something like this would be awesome in the manawatu! I've probably gotta rebuild my bike in the next 20 - 30 hours (or possibly sooner if I go looking for more power), which will be my first rebuild. Im confident that I can get it done, but knowing my luck (see previous clutch problems) the little thing will get me stuck - having a group of people together would make it go a shit load quicker, and be good to learn from your/others mistakes - especially looking at the different bits of other makes/models engines etc

Sounds good mate you can train me up on 4 smokers! Valve timing confuses the hell outa me LOL!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

you'll learn all about them, and then you'll go home thinking "whats the point, all these extra parts for less power and more weight"

I'd pop in to sink a few and meet some other like minded souls. My bikes aren't in any need of work but I've no problem giving a few pointers here and there if needed. Done my fair share of rebuilds.

I don't know what scares me more.... you inside an engine or how much you must be paying these poor girls!

Still keeping an eye on airfares mate, just changed jobs to get 2 day weekends back so a weekend trip may be in order
