Stock B-King - what a difference a pair of Yoshis make to that bike!

Late model GSXR thou - stupid looking banana muffs (a lot of work to make them though!) apparently Moto-GP inspired!!!!!

New V4 Aprilia - looks like a cardboard fold up box template.

That Honda 1000 pipe is all cover - I can't understand why they painted it silver- black would be sooo much better.

Harley - XR Sportster thingy - HD dumb arses missed one of the most important HD flat tracker signatures - the high mount twin pipes. If Triumph can manage it on their Scrambler surely HD could have (the aftermarket has come to the rescue).

New R1 - actually the entire styling of the new R1 - a good example of how to take one of the best looking modern sports bikes and ruin it.

Concours Kawa, Suzuki GSX1400 (single can one), Honda CB1300 - good grief those are BIG cans!!!!!!!!!!!!

New MV - I don't get the new square edge quad rear pipes - round was so much more attractive.

Rune's are OK because they are the best sounding stock exhausts on any motorcycle I've tested.

The high pipes on the Scrambler are one of its worst features.

Predator muffler works fine with the style of the rest of the bike too.

B-King gets my vote followed by the entire Multistrada Exhaust system.

Buell 1125 is a shocker too - but it's hidden.

But i must say the VFR is a beautiful bike....apart from the exhaust.

I get this feeling that they know most people will replace them for custom exhaust anyway so they design some monstrosity to fit the cat and pass the emission regualtions.

The Euro 3 emissions regs are at the root of all this, those big cans are needed to pass the tests.
The situation is only going to get worse and you can't really blame the designers.

A Devil can looks great on the CB1000R though.

The KTM is a bit different, that looks like an exhaust that's designed to cross streams. Dunno about those tyres though.

Yeh I reckon the same with the ugly rear guard and number plate on most bikes! I imagine they have to have a rear guard to get the bikes past most countries regs. But I can't understand why they don't design them with the number plate tucked right up under the tail light and a rear guard extension you could just unbolt so it was automatically a tail tidy situation once removed??
