    Sintered brake pads suppliers

Hey all you knowledgeable people out there. Im after a set of sintered brake pads for my 04 zx10. been doing a lot of reading and it seems they are the best available according to kwak forums etc. anyone know if there is a supplier in NZ? Ive had a brief look in the usual places online in NZ. rather than buying from uk or usa, has anyone bought these pads in NZ.

    OR

can anyone recommend another manufacturer / product?

Ive recently got into doing track days and will be doing lots more so I want very good pads on me stoppers!

    cheers peeps

Any major bike shop should be able to supply them

yep, most bike shops have them hanging on the wall. pop in and see them.

I got Ferodo from this place at last tyre change.

Often referred to as HH compound. Pretty much all of the major pad manufacturers make a sintered HH pad as well as the standard "organic" pad. They cost about twice as much, but they're really worth it.
Ferodo is probably the premium brand as far as most are concerned. I've been using Vesrah HH pads in my track bike and it stops like a... well like a thing that stops really well!

For the best stopping power on a trackday you could try the SBS Dual Carbon pads.

Expensive, and probably not an economical option for the road though (they won't heat up enough).
