Well, if one was quite pedantic they would argue the point that it would still increase the frontal projected area, creating drag still. At around 200km/h reducing the CdA of a motorcycle by 0.01 adds 1km/h. At 300km/h, reducing the CdA by the same amount adds 2-4mk/h. Hence, as speeds increase, aerodynamics become more important than power.
