What digital speedo would suit my dual purpose?

I have just finished putting RGV250 wheels on my WR250f and as part of the conversion I need to replace the OEM speedo with a magnetic pickup type that will pass a warrent and handle bumps of dirt riding. What are people using - what does it have to do to pass warrent (does it have to be back lit, etc. Does a push bike one do the trick? What are you using. Thanks. I tried this thread on the Motards forum but not much activity over there.
    Cheers

trailtech vapour are quite good - i think somone on here sells them

make sure the wire is long enough if you get a push bike one - or the range on a wireless one is enough for the longer distance

the pushy one I had wasn't back lit so after dark it was anyones guess what speed you were doing. Got a vapour at the moment and it seems to be workin o.k. Better than the standard clocks anyway

Any problems or did they just not realise that it didn't work at night. Thats what i'm hoping for as the pushbike ones are $50 and those vapour jobies go for $219-$299. I just want something to tell me the speed and pass a wof (will be first time the bike is on the road so I imagine they are a bit more thorough then any follow up wofs.

That's just for the black surround and idiot lights. You would stll need the speedo unit with this.

Yeah $95 would have been sweet for that if it included the computer. What makes the motorbike ones so much more expensive then bike ones which do the same thing?

I have a trailtech enduro. I haven't used it onroad, but intend to. Its pretty rad, but not backlit, which can be irritating.
