Whoa a bandit owner who makes observations.
Fuck next we will have the CBR crew who are writing their thesis.

Exactly Her_B4, and as a biker and a cage driver myself I have to say bikers need to remember if they are doing this stuff it is them that needs to improve their behaviour. If some idiot splits then gets in front and slows down the cars will pass you back - the view they have is you are riding in the middle of the two lanes and they will still claim the lane as theirs because that is the "rule" you have set.
If you split through to the front at the lights then take off fast else the cars will be pissed off you are in the way. What is with the bikers that split to the front and then park at an angle across in front of cars - you are not going to get away in hurry starting off cock-eyed and are likely to get T-boned.
A classic example I had I was in my cage at the bottom of Haywards Hill in the front of the left lane at the lights onto the Western Hutt Road ready to turn right towards Lower Hutt. An idiot biker splits through and pulls up in front of me on my right. The light goes green and off he goes but he was such a poor rider he totally stuffed up trying to lean around the turn and invaded the space right in front of my car as I was turning correctly in the lane and had to brake hard as he panicked then gathered himself back into shape, all of this by then mm in front of my car. The moral of that story is if you aren't a flash rider, don't try and act like one, just stay back in the crowd and learn to ride.
Cheers
Merv
I always laugh about the riders who split past 1 or 2 cars to the front of the que. Surely it's easier (and safer) just to wait a couple of cars back from the front. You won't lose that much time waiting for them to get up to speed.
@OP, you see! Here's one right now! Overloaded by his own beliefs, stuck in a go-nowhere life, feeling unable to influence his environment - their only option is to angrily concentrate their feelings, and consequently their actions, on those who are part of the problem. (sic)
Of course, this is very surprising for you, and very unproductive for them. Bummer.
Move on... They are just animals locked in their own broken world - the type of people that inadvertantly make a tangible contribution to motorcycling.

I didnt say the commodore would outdrag the gsf250. I said that youd have to get some decent revs into the 250 to get ahead of the commodore accelerating upto 50 in what would sound like a effortless amount of revs.
A 250 will never destroy a commodore, but it will beat them 0-100.
It'l beat them more than just 0-100... average v6 commodore runs 15-17sec through the 1/4 mile and trap 130-145.
zxr/cbr250's run near enough 14 flat and have a good 10-20kmh on a stock v6 commodore at the end of the 1/4 mile - which by that time the 250 is going past 150kmh mark and is still increasing its lead..
Heck most stock v8 commodores struggle to go lower than low 14's.
Let me guess though you drive a commodore or some sort of v8 which ofcourse is 100 times better and faster than all these rice burner boy racer cars and small capacity bikes haha.
Typical response coming from someone who lives in 'Htown'.
And your damn right, a commodore is a lot better than a rice burner boy racer car. I can recognise if any car is faster than mine and any bike is faster than mine, but commodores are better to me obviously because of what its used for. Travelling and towing.
And small capacity bikes just dont appeal to me because you need to rev the shit out of them just to get upto the speed limit in a decent time. You obviously are a huge fan of 250s, perhaps you own one? And while i appreciated mine when i had it because i had to ride it, they are just slow for a motorbike.
Theres more to life than ringing out a 250 to get a head at a set of lights.

Thanks for making me laugh this morning - aren't there a lot of over sensitive types out there.
My 2 cents worth
- Good on any one who rides a bike - my first bike was a 100cc Kawasaki, I now ride a Harley - everyone starts somewhere / rides what they like
- Yeah I love my Harley BUT that doesn't make it better or worse than anything else. I have been know to call it an "antiquated piece of American junk" (always qualified with "but I love it")
- I don't lane split - in any "battle" with a cage I'm going to end up HURT
- Power to weight etc. I suspect that any modern 250 jappa would beat my Harley hands down - would I ride one, NO. But that doesn't mean I need to deride other people to make myself feel better.
There ends my sermon for today![]()
