Just clocked a little over 5000 since i got the bike and it had its service. Im in two minds as to whether to get the bike shop to do it or whether i do it myself.
I went to supercheap today and they had 2 oils which looked good for my use. 1 was a castrol power gps oil for 4 stroke highperformance bikes. 2nd was a fuchs product, had race or racing on the label and remember it was fully synthetic for superbikes exactly like mine. Would i be alright using the castrol or should i go with the more expensive fuchs product.
And after all that..
Need to get valve clearances checked and a TEKA tune done to my bike as still havent tuned from putting on yoshi 4 into 1 racing pipe later last year.
Bike shop they can do a full lube service (which includes lubes and oil filter, valve clearance check, and a general check) and just a normal tune for around $500. Question: is that a reasonable price?
Cheers guys

the only thing funnier is the fact that there are obviously people out there that buy it and put it into there road used motorcycle then as there the fastidious types bin it 3000 kms later and shell out another hundy.Madness.
