Its damaged, and they are inviting inspection

The above description is accurate & honest but it is the buyers responsibility to come and inspect this motorcycle prior to placing a bid so you are 100% satisfied with the all round condition of this motorcycle

    Sounds perfectly fair to me.

Hell I insist on the right toi inspect no matter what condition the gear is in, even if they don't agree and I have the winning bid.

The Ninja is being advertised as stolen and recovered - not as an insurance write-off. Although, the question was asked, it seems to have been answered weirdly.

Meh - I wouldn't buy any bike I (or preferably someone who knew what they were doing) had a look at it. If it was in another city, I'd either ask someone on here to check it out or get the seller to take it to a bike shop for a pre-purchase check

try the auction over here then 1 0r thousand moved a day , and the crashed bike auction , well there are some VERY creative hidden flaws

A mint CBR 900 rr with a FKDED frame that had been covered up ..looked ok , must have ridden like a bag of sht as a couple of weeks in a row it reappeared back on the auctions

    buyer beware and all that

As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it would be cars on demand.

There was a hoohaa about this bike http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=281262308 , a bunch of questions about very specifc problems with the bike (frame related if I remember) which they denied, then eventual winner of the auction ended up relisting it for a lot less a couple weeks later (cars_on_demand had sold it once or twice before but obviously whoever won it didnt complete auction once they sighted the bike). I'm not sure if they intentionally misled anyone though, more a case that the buyer should really inspect in person, or be prepared to take a chance. Seems to be plenty of others that have got a good deal and are happy with their bikes/cars.

Its not rocket science, If I was interested in buying a recovered/written off bike, I GO AND INSPECT IT , if im happy i buy it.You cant rely on the seller to check it for you, hell if I had a $ for every time I went to check out a bike from a private seller that was "mint condition" id be rich. Often it's a cheap or easy fix, or people have time on their hands and not money, or some other arrangement.

some people (like my dad) like to buy things in bits and then spend years rebuilding them - I think it is the rebuilding not the finished product that he likes..... kinda like a massive jigsaw puzzle

Dodgy as fuck. In one of the auctions he mentions the bent frame, then form there on in categorically denies it. Buyer befuckenware.

What a wanker. Pit of death.
