Hey you, we will have him up here in Hazard County thanks. I agree with your post, that is what we expect from our transport cops. I have had 2 speeding tickets in my life. Both of them issued by complete and utter wankers. Both of which I deserved though so meh.

The statistical likelyhood of accidents caused by speed was'nt in any way discussed, and if anything I agree with the inattentive driver bit.....for the sake of argument however i'm pretty sure the stats do show that the majority of crashes are speed related,

Make the stats fit the model and you keep your funding/job as a consultant/ ability to fly around the world telling every country including Sweden that they should follow the NZ way of road policing because it works so well.

Sure you gotta deal with wankers all the time, but then you'd think that when a decent polite person comes along you would think 'finally someone nice maybe ill let them slide a lil bit coz they have just popped into town and left their license at home in there jacket but everything checks out fine' (which happened to my ma the other night and the stupid bitch pig gave her a ticket) But alot of the time you assholes think that your some sorta figure that i should respect and worship, when infact i laugh at you because i know my parents would disown me if i ever became one. So i wonder what your extended family and friends secretly think about you guys huh?

Anyway the point is most peoples (normal people not retarded fucken SHEEPLE) attitudes towards the police are governed by there past experiences with them. I admit i have had times when they overlook certain things which arent a big deal, and they are fine, they are probably more interested in getting rapist and murderers etc off the street then issuing a ticket because someone genuinely forgot their license. And for all the traffic cops on here, how come you dont pull over people who dont indicate, people who dont giveway, and assholes that are doin 20kmh under the posted limit? Queenstown pigs are the fucken WORST for this, they would be able to hit there quota in a day if they did that.

Anyway if for some fucken stupid reason you decide to become part of nz's biggest gang, then you need to expect to be dealing with general wankers all over nz, because face it. Fuck all people like you.

As much as i agree with you...i think you guys need to get new word, because this "drivel this" "drivel that" is getting bit old. (especialy if its used as substitute for intelligent response)
Also Sesame street is a good program for you guys to watch to learn some new words.

The cop that wrote me up a few weeks didn't want to know my story (well he did, they always ask eh?) but it never enters the equation. His superiors listen to what I had to say though, and let me off. Like I said earlier, it doesn't stop with the ticket, thats just the begining if you give a shit. Most will just complain about it and how all cops are wankers bla bla. They are just doing their job but the ticket writer expects you not to do anything about it, except pay.

My apologies for the use of such an “out of date” word when acknowledging your contribution to this enlightened discussion on KB. Please excuse me in addressing your self-opinionated factually challenged dialog to which your claimed knowledge obviously exceeds your experiences in this way. Hey, look, I don't hate cops, but I do believe they are public servants, and that they are there to serve the public and to keep the public safe. They are obligated to us, the public, to greet us and speak to us in a civil manner no matter what the instance is. I am always courteous and polite, and this never deserves, even if I was rude, a response of arrogance and rude behavior.
The police owe it to us, by right, to explain first the reasoning for the meeting, what apparent offence has been alleged, and to ask us for our response and explanation. Education should be paramount over infringement. Lives depend on it.
Also, I don't accept poor recruitment selection/ practice, they should be trained customer service and manners if it is so that there parents dragged them up instead of bringing them up.......
As far as real policing, sorry traffic police don't do real policing, real police solve crime and protect the public from violent offenders and criminals. Traffic police gather revenue for the crown by fulfilling their quota's and harassing those on the roads. They specifically target stereo types, and vehicles of interest.... This by the way is really a form of discrimination..... owh heres a sports bike, must be a law breaker..... or there's a patch, he must have drugs......

My respect goes to real cops, who catch real criminals, traffic police don't even make 20% of what the MOT were.... Bring back black and whites. Everywhere else has a separate specialist force....

Mate, wait until you have to try triding around amongst people in society with little to no vehicle training, a false license, no insurance, an unroadworthy car, who dont give a fuck, and speed anyway, and then tell me again how important good traffic cops are. The law sets standards, and the cops are there to enforce them. Thank fuck. Thats the only reason why I have a bike here at all - because the laws are actually enforced. There is no way on Earth I would have a bike in Johannesburg.

If I was a traffic copper, I could fill my quota real easy by policing one compulsory stop here in the Tron...Corner of Willoughby Street and Abbotsford Street. As far as I can tell, I am the only road user in the entire Tron who bothers to stop there...

Its a very good start, will see how that works out....they still need to work on their attitude when talking to public and definately need to work on pursuit policies (but thats another discussion)
