I think it's pretty damn sad that the police are resorting to this type of policing....best we all become perfect citizens and never do anything wrong then their convertness will not bother us...........Like anyone is anywhere near perfect

Well as long as no one does a ewey in front of me, I can live with it (the U turn type not the baggy gumboots and velcro gloves version ya sick bastard)

Covert police officer overheard saying "Make a U turn? I can make her eyes pop!"

I would hazard a guess, that ordinary citizens are also "sick and tired" of the police' stupid fucking tactics and irresponsible and full /pedant mode policing that irritates people and causes them to hate the police.

Fuck them. I'm sick and fucking tired too - everyone is suck and fucking tired. Somewhere both our "sick and tired" is going to meet in the middle and go critical mass, and public scrutiny come hatred is going to turn on the NZP and then we will see who is sick and fucking tired.

I suppose this means they will be filming the stock trucks dropping shit all over the roads too, that would be a change!

Maybe they might even film the state of the roads where the cows cross the roads in lieu of underpasses too!

They will probably up-skill to night filming while catching overloaded cars and utes with their lights so far out of adjustment dazzling every other bastard on the road front and back too!

They are going to be so busy, just doing what they are supposed to be doing now! FFS!

This has been covered before, and explained very carefully that it is not an offence! FFS!

Bollocks Covert tactics save lives - The best deterrent is to be seen not hiding in a wheelie bin zapping speeders. Do not get me wrong I do not condon speeding but FFS be upfront and be seen with your approach. No speed camera has ever prevented a crash or saved a life.

Top Gear had an article that in the UK areas with Speed Cameras had a higher crash rate than those with none.

What a waste! I have NEVER been going slow!! But I suppose this is my chance to end up on TV!

Come to think bout it, now would be a good time to start a "how to make brilliant home videos" education programme...

May the bridges I burn light the way.

That's what thet're aiming for, total compliance. Boring robots in boring wee cars (coz bikes will kill people yadda yadda yadda) and god forbid you upgrade the suspension or the brakes, that'd give you the forbidden upper hand. It just goes on. (People will be couch surfing next.)

    Truckies are not stupid.

If you talk to them they will know their rights (As Im sure you do) and will politely tell you they dont have to do anything about it.

Then all that is happened is you have lost their respect.

Assuming you had it in the first place.

Wont make any difference, to many people dont understand car/bike physhics, and theres a lot of badly maintained cars/bikes out there still.

Ain't that the truth and I'd wager the vehicles that are badly maintained are driven by people who maintain bad driving habits also. Often the two go hand in hand and part of the problem is that drivers of modern vehicles are 'removed' from their vehicles in the mechanical sense. They fear the machine's complexities and therefore cut themselves off from it, removing their 'feel' for the road and their surroundings. They feel invincible.

Hate to put a dampner on mr gibsons idea, but this stuff has already been tried many years ago now, and all it managed to do was piss a lot of people off, to the extent the gobberment got involved, and the cops had to pull their heads in. the only difference this time is video cameras.

Still, if they target double yellow lines, approach to bridges, slow drivers is a good one, and that sort of thing, and don’t target drivers a little over or under the limit, might do some good but I wont hold me breath.
