Hey Scott, do you think this event will still be on with all the rain around??
forcast is for fine weather tomorrow and sunday, so this is just my watering system at the moment
Tomorrow
22 May
MAX 18°C
MIN 8°C
Fine. Southerlies dying out.
Sunday
23 May
MAX 17°C
MIN 12°C
Fine but cloud increasing. Northeasterlies developing.
What sort of surface is it? Looking forward to coming down for a play on Sunday.
it is a barley paddock again so it will be more like the 2nd round, with a harder base,
Wow bit of rain here today!
philip duncan forecast (www.weatherwatch.co.nz/content/auckland) reckons 80 % chance of rain today ( and he guess he's right there) dry saturday and 60% chance of rain on sunday afternoon. So guess it might be a good mud fest.![]()
Why is it when I get chance to go on one of these it rains!
I hope it holds off on sunday but i'll still be there rain or shine. (I'll remember to put fuel in the kids bikes this time Scott !your help was appreciatd last time)

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!
Harden up guys and get your ass their, be good to ride a muddy track, its all FUN see you guys on the start line, be prepaired to be owned, by an OLDGUY
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
Nathan Woods R.I.P.
the track is pretty cool, they had 30mm of rain on friday and the soil is awesome, i think this will be the best track of the bunch, hope to see you guys there
Sounds good, have spent the afternoon servicing the bike so now ready to give Senior C a crack tomorrow.
probebly more than the last one, but not as much as the first one , if that makes sense
yeah right!
2 old guys together ......... me and you....Is mike going I've got a spare kdx200 if he's willing to fuel it and wash it afterwards..... would make three oldguys
and I know who would win and I don't think it would be you or me. I guess Phil will going too so would make 4 oldguys. good for
afterwards......catch ya tomorrow.

474 riders today, pretty massive number, thanks for all those that showed up
Thanks Scott and all the crew that helped marshals, medics, hamburger/sausage stand etc. Had a great day and the rain stayed off until the end so great. The CRF has gone wonky on me so I (luckily) had taken the KDX which didn't let me down. Kids had a good time too and even the wife enjoyed watching!![]()
