    Conti RaceAttack - Formula 3

    Who's using them?

Anyone got some used tyres they want to sell?

    hi

i bought a zx10 r shod with conti race attacks. ive done a few track days and they are great tyres.never a slip up at all. how do they compare to michelin pilot power 2ct's? do you know? im lookin at needing some new tyres soon so the 2ct's or the conti race attacks are my options so far.

Only had SuperCorsa Pro's and Conti RaceAttacks on the track with my bike sorry - maybe someone else who has had both the Conti's and the Michelins can fill you in.

After 170's and 160 rears. Just got a new front so won't need one for a while yet. Pretty sure he runs 180 and 190 rears.

    190 rear tyres??????????
What are you doing, making them or something??
I wouldn't go through 190 tyres in my whole life!!!!

Contact Paul at Dannevirke Suzuki. He may have some used ones, perhaps even one of Geoff Booths National championship winning tyres ! He could do new ones as well.
Chris Osborne can also do you new ones .

    Hey R6Kid,

Just remember you can run slicks as well in F3 aye. So if your not campaigning pro-twins; you might be able to hunt down some used slicks (or even new if the price is better) to hoon around on club days.

    See ya

Cheers - will be in touch. I've tracked down a replacement medium compound rear for the meantime.

Not too keen on running slicks just yet - I still use the bike at trackdays and some road riding too. I only get insurance at trackdays with road legal tyres anyway! I'll be giving clubmans a go to begin with and maybe look at Open Pro Twins later in the year, the TRX is an 850cc watercooled twin so doesn't qualify for Protwins/F3 or F2 and won't be fast enough for F1 - only 90hp. I'll see how things shape up and depending on my lap-times I might see about getting thrown in with F3 or maybe F2 but not scoring points.
