Blackbird very kindly sent me these some time ago and (being the lady of discerning taste that I am) the Ducati is often my wallpaper at work.

Great work BB, thanks for sharing.

The exhaust doesnt look quite right on your drawing, dont think you'd see the outlet hole in side on profile, also brake lever doesnt look quite right, but for a first off effort its OK, hope you improved [/QUOTE]

Try keeping your head still whilst drawing it from a 1/12 scale Tamiya kitset

    Thumbs up

I really like your work there Blackbird.
I've never tried Autocad, but seeing something like that makes me wonder if I should give it a go. I can't imagine I'd be any good at it.
They would be for great colouring in.

Really? How about the picture on the box? No clues there huh?

I've built the same model, plus 4 other Ducs

I also built the same model, plus:
    Ducati 900 Hailwood Replica
    Honda NR
Honda VFR750R (I left the front lower fairing clear, to view the engine)
    Kawasaki KR1000F
    Kawasaki GPZ400R
    Yamaha XV1000 Virago
    BMW K100
    Nissan R89C

Built them a few years ago now and I really enjoyed doing them at the time.

I've posted the pics before, but only built 3 as I was getting a bit obsessive about detail and flagged it away. For the 'bird, found myself even making the vertical ram air intake grilles instead of the mesh supplied to make it look like the injected version instead of the carbed model and even matched the paint and put on my own numberplate - how downright sad is that???
