It was only a little climb but it didn't agree with the DT

The twist starts at the front of the seat - pity its a welded on subframe

I read somewhere that the front wheel works better if it lines up with the handlebars..

oh well it was a fun day anyway...

Looks OK to me, but then my eyes are closed most of time in fear when I ride.

Seriuosly, the forks should pop back if you undo all triple clamp bolts, both sets. Not sure about the rear but should push back.

we re-aligned the forks with no problems but all the pushing/twisting in the world wouldnt move the sub frame. I'll strip everything off and get some big bits of 4x2 and a sledgehammer

So....I made the right decision not to ride with you today then.

How did you manage that? I gather the bike cartwheeled?

you would have had a blast (well maybe not on this little bank) - where are your priorities?

And yes it cartwheeled and was stopped very abruptly by a tree ( too much throttle - too much traction - and a nasty kicker at the top of the little bank.

I missed seeing the bike gymnastics but did I see Mark's barrell roll as the finale! And I don't recall hearing him swear - incredible but true.

Threads like this make me glad you failed at talking me into a dirtbike!

Bummer about your bike Marks.... expensive to repair something like that? or just a brute force exercise?

Bloody hell Mark. I thought you were the twisted one, not your bike.
Luckily we know where there is a wrecked DT230. Let me know if you want the sub frame.
