Why would anybody use the "other" universe as a preference? It is almost impossible to read and many of the icons etc that are so nicely visible in the Light Universe are near invisible in the other place. I thought it was deliberately designed to make the comprehension of threads assigned to Pointless Drivel near impossible. If it were any worse it would be in Braille...

I used to but switched back because it was too harsh on the eyes when Im on my laptop. Its alot easier to see all the colours on light universe though. Light universe was better at work too because a black screen stood out too much.

No, neither the Light nor the Dark Universe is used in PD. It has its own - the Fiery Universe. Which I like and would like to see available in the general forums. I use the Light Universe, cos the black and yellow thing is too hard on the eyes.Originally Posted by Hitcher

Yellow and black are very high contrast colours, they hurts my (precious) eyesssss.
