How do people get their bike racing fix without Sky?

Bloody TV1 is a bit of a tease. A few weeks ago they showed a SBK race and it was BLOODY fantastic. I used to watch it all the time way before I was really into bikes. But of course, they don't play it regularly.

So, the question is, for those of you that don't have Sky, do you just accept the fact you very rarely watch it or get bike racing other ways i.e. the interweb? (Or crash your mates place that has Sky and drink all his piss!)

Personally I thought you would be able to download racing but in saying that I wouldn't really watch it on the computer. I suppose if I knew I get download it I would sort out how to play it on the telly.

Quite right. Drop them a line, I'm sure they'll be only too happy to oblige.

They usually stream it live here:
    http://www.worldsbk.com/

But I've found it unwatchable in the back water of the world's Internet that we call New Zealand.

Wow, I didn't realise there was so many internet TV type sites. Cheers all. I'm gonna have to have a play for the next races.

Yeah, I've been thinking about trying the torrent thing. I've just never got around to doing it. I'll have to give it a go the races coming up and "compare" the experiences.

A few weeks back TV1 had the whole shebang on Sunday arvo - Moto2, then 125, 250 and MotoGP. My Mum phoned just as the MotoGp flag dropped/ so I sort-of watched it and as usual got off the phone 40 mins later.

So TV1 is going to show it but there's no advertising for it, so you have to sit on front of the telly every sunday waiting for a break in the netball, league and rugby. Then at the end of the year the cretins who run programming can say motorcycling doesn't rate and they'll pull it off to fit in yet another insightful dissection of the latest mind-numbing netball match from Julie Coney.

Yeah that's what I watched. It was highlights but they were pretty decent long highlights. It was TV1 that showed some of the SBK as well. A few months back Prime showed some racing in Ireland roads. That was crazy shit. I suppose at least they're trying.

I usually follow SBK on the U Toobs here http://www.youtube.com/user/SBK . Shortly after the race thay have a 25minute highlights package which is pretty good, plus they have shorter clicks from time to time. Click 'Subscribe' and every time you log into Youtube to watch some 'Cat LOL' video, you will see the latest vid appear at the top of the page as they have been added.

You can search for the MotoGP chanel but its normally a waste of time, just stupid short clips with about as much content as a movie trailer.

    Now....
