Hope your allright and are on the ment. Who cares about the bike? They are easily replaced, the rider is much more important

have we got a crash club here??
i was sort of in a hurry last tuesday on the way. it was raining. although i have confidence to handle the rain, but i tried too hard, and gone through a gap which was not sufficiently large enough. i had the intention to breake before that, but the front break locked up before i can slow down at all.

anyway, i was down just in front of a big kenwoth truck and trailer unit. skin fell off and foot was run over, luckily, i survive and no bones were broken. just pain.

the bike was ok so far, as i did not take a closer look to that yet. left hand side panel has to be fixed, 'cause a few holes were seen, oil is leaking from somewhere, gear lever and stand were bened.

finally, got a charge on careless driving. therefore has to be on court some day and a big $400 fine.

Pain is your friend. It creates a lasting impression on your cerebellum that you will (hopefully) recall next time you think of doing something stupid again

Fixing bikes can be fun. And a way to remind you that you should assess the situation from all angles next time before winding on the throttle.

Well buddy, sounds like you are going to learn a hard lesson here.

I hope you sit back and assess what went wrong, what you could have done, and what you will do in the future.

And then you are on the way towards being a better rider.

Good luck. The pain will go in about a week. The pain in the wallet may take a little longer

I know. I've been there. More than once.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Sorry to hear that man, but good thing you not badly hurt. Bugger about the charge, as if falling off isn't punishment enough.

I wonder if someone crashes and goes into a coma for a year due to their carelessness whilst driving - would they charge them for careless driving when/if they come out of it?

thanks for all the concernings guys! it is pretty warm here, like a big family, combining people as well as machines, or our girls if you would like to say so. from now on if i ever get back on the bike(i think it has to happen some day soon), i will ride the zxr the same as a goldwing, big and steady.

Sorry you hear about your bin, good that your foot is in one piece after getting run over! Defineately sounds like a learning experience, which is a plus (taking the good from the bad).
