    19 mm Chinese carb setup

    Hi guys

I got a 19mm carb one of the Chinese phbg rip off's..

I have set the float hight to 16mm this was done with the bell mouth bench
    side down..

Air screw at 2 turns out...

Bike's a B1 motor starts but runs very very rich.... put it this way in 30secs of
running 200ml of gas gets used...

To me it looks like the foat hight is wrong...

I got the 16mm setting off the internet.... so....

I know go get a dellorto....

    Regards Ian

Yup thats were I got the 16mm from for the float hight setting.

I also did the fiber washer mod to the choke as well.

I have two of these carbs and both have the same problem.

I gave the float valve a good clean with carb cleaner thinking there might
be some dirt keeping it open... no go..

    Regards
    Ian

I think you might have hit the nail on the head there

Seems my slide is the wrong way around !

Checked the other one and it's wrong to !...

I have a gut feeling the one on the reverse was in the wrong way when
I got it.... Can't put anything past the Chinese.....

i'll install it on a bike tomorrow and see what happens !

I kinda feel a little lame now...

    Thanks man.

    Ian
