Beware if riding around the eastern Bay of Plenty (29 May)

well after a week of rain and flooding on monday and tuesday the roads round here suck. There is silty muddy crap all over the roads that if you find a damp patch is very slippery. While out on my ride today on my favourite roads Mc Coy rd and Stanley road there is clay all over the roads from slipps and still some slipps on blind corners. So if you are planning on riding around these parts please take care.

Is that the Ohope end ?. The Stanley Rd I go into from the Taneatua end is a goat track full of logging crews , and trucks. Fark that on a bike.

the taneatua end would be fun on a dual purpose bike though.
