awesome vids. I was the marshel at checkpoint 1. We had a few run off the road and end up in the tree's so what looked like a boring spot first thing turned out not to bad.

Hye JT, on your first viideo at 5 mins that down hill you turned onto thats where I did a massive flip and sprained my wrist. The track looked pretty good!

Well I'm reasonably happy with my first effort.
I did 3 Laps, 120K's, 4hrs05m race time, but 3hrs 46 mins on my clock so there is 14m refueling, crash or two in there and one 2min stop for a power shot sachet other wise I just kept moving!
I was going to go much faster for the first two laps for a better class result but decided for my race I was going to try and go for as long as I could. So I paced myself from the start. Never ridden that long before so know I know what I have to work on over the next year. JT was 10mins a lap faster so I have to work on my speed and aggression! 8th in my class out of 13 so I was not last at least LOL!!!
Bloody good track nothing to hard it just never stopped and it got more whopped and rutted when you really didn't need it to. The last 20K I could still stand ok but my arms weren't strong enough to control the bike over the whoops!
What was the track like?? In the trees quite like the sandpit, in the open a bit like the A sections of a Mr moto ride but pumicey sand stuff!
Virtually no places to rest, while riding, it just kept at you all the time, the last 20k I just sat and let the bike beat me up I was stuffed mainly in the arms.
Only my second race event so I learnt a lot and it was a great experience! Haha now I've been there done that and got the T-Shirt LOL!!!
Ah well!! I've gone where I've never gone before on a dirt bike, mentally and physically, the bike didn't miss a beat and saved me on a few occasions!
Would I do it again too bloody right I would!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Great vids jt119. There were alot of helmet cameras there. The rider next to me at the start on a YZ had one too. Hopefully there will be more shown on youtube .
