    Time for new gloves

So the gloves that I brought in my initial gear purchase are giving up the ghost. Acutally they gave that up a long time ago - all of my gloves die a peculiar death - the thumb bit always ends up giving up trying to contain my huge digit. While that gives me the ability to enter my pin number without taking off the gloves, it's getting a bit chilly in the mornings...

Any recommendations on a good all rounder glove? Something that is durable, waterproof or dries quickly, and available in 2XL are pretty much my criteria.. oh, and they have to have ADVENTURE plastered all over it, cause that how you have to roll on a KLR.

    Thoughts?

Dri Rider Adventure gloves might work for you,but can be a bit hot in summer.Which is why I have the Rally X Pro gloves for summer/trail riding.

I always carry some of those Kathmandu polyprop gloves ($9.99) on my bike.
If I get wet or cold they go under whatever gloves I'm wearing (usually Fox MX gloves).

Check out 1Tonne gloves. I have a pair I recently got from them and I'm very happy with them. I got these. They are excellent value.

These are great gloves for the middle of winter but you'll need thinner ones come Springtime!!

That sounds too good to be true, did they keep your fingers warm? Would the be ok as a commuting glove, ie worn every day do ya rekon?

They sound cheap and cheerful - probably not water proof at all (ie. water resistant), but the low cost means if they get worn out through every day use, it's not a big financial blow to get new ones... seriously thinking about those!

well the first 6months they were commuting every day till i got a works ute, and the last 3 years of and on ADVing. when i was riding to work in frosts the first winter they were good, but not so warm now, they were once water proof but like my other gear i spray them with this stuff from hunting and fishing which keeps them water proof.(twice yearly)

normally if no one buys them after a couple of auctions the'll drop to $1 reserve thats when i start bidding
