    Fork seals Kx250

    Hey there,

Im in the process of replacing fork seals on a old KX...

What weight/ brand of fork oil do you all use?

Also how much should I put in each fork?

    Cheers,
    Harry

5wt fork oil & the amount in volume isn't as important as the height the oil sits in the fork ie: level (roughly 100mm from the top of the tube)

I forgot to say but if you've done forks before that height measurement is with the forks compressed & minus the spring.
measurement is roughly the height from memory, it could be 98mm.....Scott will have access to the specs, I used too and did have them all written in my work notebook but that's gone walkabout since I moved house.

you can go to a 7.5wt oil or ATF fluid as well

std oil height is 110mm plus or minus 2mm, (thats compresses with the springs out)
