Even in Brass Monkey territory ... thousands of Bikers about, I didn't see one cop in "traffic police" mode ...

Boy those guys were lucky!! I tried to go over Danseys few years ago on the way to the Brass on a GSXR1000, and it was hailing so bad on the way up the hill, we had to turn back and walk the bikes down...it was so f@#kin slippery! Walking 7 hours in thick snow IN THE DARK would be scary as hell and a real wake up call too.

Lets just say i know someone who got chased by 2 cops at 200km/h for quite a bit. yes they stopped him and impounded the bike.
well they didnt really stop him, he nearly crashed and came to a halt is all....

I am doing 108,000 km/h by standing still.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

THAT is not the way it is meant to happen according those certain ones 'who know' on KB - he was meant to have vanished over the curvature of the earth cackling maniacly at shaking off yet another pursuit....and 200kph? - goodness me, did they think the cops would be driving with their handbrakes on??

I still cant see how they can claim it as a success, do they think we are idiots or do they have control over the weather as well......thats what stopped most people from travelling, my opinion anyway, lol

But what about the times the bad weather gets blamed for the number of crashes?

    Or does that not count?

Of course that counts but were they due solely on the weather or other factors such as travelling over 104 kph.......alcohol....or just plain crazy driving

Bur really, what are the chances of gettting a ticket anyway. for the amount of roads and the small amount of traffic units the chances of seeing a traffiic unit is very slim.
I have had my licence for over 25 years and have only been stopped 5 times (all resulting in a ticket) so really what is the real chance??
