    WTB: 2008 CRF450R rear rim

Anyone got one or know of any for sale? Tryna do it cheap if possible as a bit strapped for cash but want my bike back on the trails! Been trying to track one down for a few days, have found plenty of front rims but no luck with the rear.. Cheers in advance

what happend to the old one??

the good news is the CR125 / CR250 and CRF250R all run the same setup since at least 2003, possibly older. this could help your search.

watch out for CRF250X and CRF450X though as they use a 18" rim

One of the spokes pulled through the rim.. still rideable but i'll be really pushing it to get too many more hours out of it.. And yeah I'm pretty sure the 450 rim is a fair bit wider than the 250.. it runs a 130 rear tyre as opposed to most 250s 110.. Was the CR250 that wide also??

one spoke isnt much. Had 5 or 6 stretch the hole on my old crf. I took the spoke off, put a washer with the same sized hole as a standard spoke hole inside the rim, and re installed the spoke through the washer. Was sweet as after that

the 250 2t and the 450 is a 2.15 rim, the 250F and the 125 takes a 1.85 rim, so they are a bit smaller, but they will fit,

HOnda's run a different rim from every other bike, (32 hole instead of 36)

Yeah I have thought about doing that.. Didnt know if it would work or not though, but obviously it does so might give that a try at least untill I can afford to just get a new rim!

Yeah that sounds right, cheers for clearing that up, at least i know the width to go for now [dont really wanna be running a smaller rim of the 450!]
