I rode Christchurch to Tauranga on a mate's Speed Triple a few weeks ago

I had a ball, rode faster though the windies than I knew was possible, spent a lot of time of time on the back wheel and had a grin a lightear wide most of the time.

I also got a ticket for 137 and if it weren't for a decent cage driver would have got another on the same leg for at least the same. I rode 40 km down a backroad I had never been down in the wet at night with a bald back tyre and aged about a brazillian years.

And there is nothing like a speed triple for sheer blast, but they're just too fast for my license.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Yes well, He is after all a mere nubblit in comparison to the riding gods of Kiwibiker, and there were plenty of suck lines under-taken.

Of course, The helmet camera gives a very distorted view of what is going on and it would be a silly fool who used that angle to judge where the bike was on the road or why it was there.

No, they love being ridden fast and then the fat men in Holden Commodes take your license away. I've considered buying one, but a radar detector would be fitted the day I picked it up.

The really freaky thing is that the fertiliser plant at the very beginning looks just like the one mentioned in Big Daves favourite road thread.

My son has one and i rode many kilometres on them when I worked at the Triumph shop, and they're awesome bikes but too small for me - I'm 6 ft 3 and 120 kgs. I look like a circus clown on a Street Triple, plus I like a big heavy bike that needs muscling around whereas the Street is very light and responsive.

Yeah I find my speed triple a neat fit. quite like the wider bars on the newer bikes. tucked in behind a busa on the way from palmersation to ranfulrly last weekend, paradise.... just wished the corners kept on coming
