First one is the last Paeroa meeting



and second one is about a year ago when he got it!



oh and my Z, last trip away, Its in bits now for a freshen up!

An RC30 was what I lusted after the most in the two wheeled world.




Followed closely by the GSXR750RK (aka the GSXR750RR)



And this rated up there pretty highly too.

'twas my first bike.The "widow maker" title belonged to Kawasaki triples.
RDs handled very well for a bike of that era.

I'm 1 1/2 years away from 6F and I've got my eyes set on the 09/10 Street Triple.

I know the feeling - I wanted one as soon as I saw them also. Mines black - just like the pic and i luuuvvveee it

For me it was a Z1000 A couple of Mates traded their GT550 Suzy and CB350 Honda and secretly went out together and bought a brand new one each (On finance I guess) then just turned up on them - blew us away!

Jeez mate....that could have been the one i had. Same awesome red as the one i had. It was such a machine. Great bike. 220 kph no prob's.
My bike of choice would be the Hurricane or/and the T160 Trident. Mate brought the very first new one into NZ in 1976. Blew me away at the time. Would also settle for a Norton 850 Commando.

That Rothmans VFR 750 would be in my top 5 for sure. I had a CBR600 in Rothmans colours over in the UK. Loved it!

I'm pretty sure he told me he won his class and came mid pack on this old thing against all the new R1's and CBR's in the invatation race at Wanganui, Thats pretty good if my memory is right??
