Sounds like he needs counselling on the benefits of consideration for other road users. Appeal to his self-interest.
    Speed doesn't kill people.
    Stupidity kills people.

I've read elswhere that this is a good idea too.
Makes the tailgating car think WTF is this idiot doing? I don't want to be too close to him when he crashes.
Never got a chance to try it though.
I can't see how the police would have a problem with it, providing there was actually a car tailgating you.

Hmm. The boy and man I knew would need serious provocation to misbehave.

People change of course, but I can't see him behaving without consideration for others without a reason.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I vote for Jim to have a quiet word in his shell. All those in favour?

I'm in favour of a quiet word, As far as i can tell There was no provoking. It is possible as stated earlier that it was someone else driving Peter Nonus car

I'd say with 18 years of riding it's happened more than a couple of times. My wife was nearly put in hospital after an accident because of a tailgater and you don't see her publicly listing the guys name and address or myself visiting him AND HIS FAMILY to sort things out . HDTboy does have a right to get upset and did the right thing by pulling over , I just don't agree with the rest.
Of course , all of us "motorcyclist" would never tailgate eh and this would never happen on a kiwiBiker ride .

I always wanted to take a trip up to Auckland and I have some really neat ways to "disable" a BMW
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
