    Karma my arse

On the way home tonight I saw a bus hit a van and do a runner, the van couldn't have seen the bus's plate, so I pulled in behind the van and gave him the plate and my details should he need a witness. Good deed done for the day I carried on home. A few hundred metres up the road the rear went all mushy and felt like the tyre was rolling all over the rim. Sure enough I had a nail going in the crown of the tyre and coming out the sidewall. Must have picked it up from the side of the road. Fucking fuck.

Or perhaps the nail stopped you being nailed by a red-light runner at the next intersection.

They do on mine, and I have had a nice sliver of steel make a lovely hole in a 3/4 new tyre - more than $200 cost for a tyre only a couple of thousand kms old. Fucking fuck indeed!

    That's it in a nutshell.

    Sucks about the tyre, though.

Maybe there was a bomb on the bus and if they slowed below 50 it would go off?

    Great movie idea right there.

Nah wouldnt work you would need a decent older actor to play one of the characters, someone that could pull of being a mentor or evil guy type, not washy like a Hugh Grant or moody pouting like Nicholas Cage, options are a little limited nowdays with Dennis Hopper gone.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

    No good deed goes unpunished.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
