    Blah New yzfr125 a suitable 125gp bike?

heya i've gota yzfr125R, I love everything about this bike it out handles anything els(aprillia, hyosung, gsxr) that i'v test riden. To cut a long story short i don't wanna part with it when i move up to a bigger bike. The idea came into my head to turn it into a race machine, but don't know if it'll be worth the effort...

    any ideas?

Nice little bike alright. However, its engine turns over two too many times per power cycle to be a GP machine and makes about 25HP too little. Possibly a fantastic Streetstock or Bucket though. If a little expensive.

125GP bikes are serious kit and their lap times are similar to 600cc supersports on some tracks so not worth it at all. If you want to race in 125GP buy a Yamaha TZ125!
