The most beautiful bikes on the road

yeah, I'm sure this thread has been done a brazillian times, but I don't really care.

In my mind the ten most gorgeous road bikes are (in no particular order):

    Ducati bevel drive SS900
    1969 Triumph Bonneville
2006 to current Triumph Daytona 675
    Ducati 916
    Brough Superior
    R1 Yamahas
    Harley XR1200
    MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna
    Indian Chief
    Norton Commando

My opinion, which means I'm wrong in most people's eyes, but wtf
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What one person thinks as beautiful, others will not. I love the lines of my Katana, others hate it.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

The Katana came close to being in my list. I can still remember a mate turning up at my flat and saying "you gotta come down and see what Colemans have in their window" and riding down, standing on the footpath and thinking "holy crap, the future is with us now". I think I got a stiffy looking at that bike.

Lusted after one of these once. A guy who collected Honda 50's (he had 31 of them) had one of these in a garden shed, along with an IOM racing Honda. 250 four from memory.
It (the MV) started up sounding like the worlds most sophisticated gravel crusher, what with all those straight cut gears but once fired up the blast from those open mega exhausts made the hairs on my spine stand up. No bike has made that impression since - probably just as well.

    MV
