    Valuing bikes? What's it worth?

Whats this worth? Can I expect any reasonable answers from the depths of what is kiwibiker?

    goes like real good!
Got cowboyz stamped on the side of it and anyone even close to the manawatu probably knows this bike.
Had done 4 points, grand challenges, trackdays. I ride it ALOT. Sometimes I am nice to it.. Sometimes I am not - but it has never let me down and it has a well earned repuation for being a fast bike.

What would you pay for it? I might do a poll I think..

Of course, with everything I do this has an agenda. And no.. Im not selling it.

Then I won't even offer a cent. Or a blowie...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

True it is not a Honda, thus I am inclined to knock a bit off it's value!

    What's it worth?
To sell - shit who knows - I'm thinking 2,000 - 2,500, maybe as much as $3k to a pimply faced boy who has just qualified for their full. Depends on the running gear etc. But that's just a stab in the dark!
    What's it worth?
To you - probably $10k to replace it with something that will offer similar performance/handling/grin factor and is modern and lower kms.

Are we talking PAV (Pre Accident Value) or its current condition?

i think its worth more in its current condition, it probably goes faster and leaks less oil
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

what accident? One careful lady owner.............

of course you know that I got a 'pre accident value' - not that they have any idea what the bike was like before it was crashed and me being me, I not happy with it.

I voted 5k, but for insurance company purposes it is worth 2k or less since they are re-branded/legalized scammer bookie/sharks. Unless the bike I get is new, or are forced to insure it due to finance company conditions, I go 3rd party fire n theft only. Otherwise, adding up your premiums n that, you will soon pay more than the value of your bike anyways. Insurance companies do their homework very thoroughly and basically once the odds are in their favor, only then will they insure you. They won't even put a condom on before they fuck you in the arse.

well.. if I ever get this bike paid out and buy another one I just parking in the fucking garage and taking photos of it from time to time.. Its not worth riding them. Riding them cause the ks to go up and all of a sudden the bike isnt worth anything.

150,000k.. pffft.. I seen bikes with less than 1000k on the clock that haev needed more mechanical repairs than my one.
