    Hey everyone,

I just signed up on here today and have been riding a gn250 for about 2 months. Lovin it! I'm from Chch and hoping to go on the winter ride on 5th June. However I don't know anyone on here so if you are planning to go too, please say hi on here!! Also looking for some chicky mates into bikes who I could team up with from time to time :-) -Caz

Welcome to the forums. Is the GN your first bike? Plenty of local female riders around, on all sorts of machinery, I'm sure they'll drop in here too.

Make a post like that one in the Biker Angels section, Helen and the other girls will welcome you with open arms I'm sure. They've got plenty of newbies off the ground before.

Alternatively give helenoftroy a PM, she doesn't bite, well most of the time anyway.

You wont have made enough posts to PM anybody yet, but you can leave a message on their profile pages ... check out the Christchurch Wednesday Ride/Maintainance nights for who is in your area.

Hi and welcome to the forum!! Chch rider here as well. You should check out the "maintenance thread" in meetings and events. And the "Saturday Winter rides" thread as well. We're a good bunch!

As for the ride 5th June, most folk will be at the Brass that weekend.

    Welcome.

There is regular ride to somewhere every saturday, so it will be on the calender. There will be a few away for the brass monkey on the 5th, so keep an eye on this thread http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...r-(not-the-WNR) to see if there is a ride on and where to (amongst the discussion about cupcakes and landrovers)
