This Blitz is now officially pissing me off. My bike is not rego'd or warranted at the moment, and while this usually doesn't bother me, at the moment I am worried about being pulled over randomly.

    Bastards.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

So, imagine this. The Popos in Nelson start stopping motorcyclists to educate them.
I don't think anyone is asking for enforcement to stop; petty enforcement, yes.

Somehow I fail to see what a cop can tell me in a few minutes on the side of the road, that I don't get in full-day training courses run by specialists that I attend regularly. And if a cop could impart such life-saving pearls of wisdom in a handful of minutes, why the hell aren't they telling us before now? Surely there are better, more direct, and more comprehensive communication methods. I mean, we know about the speed thing, we know about the alcohol thing, we know about the seatbelts thing... what new thing have they got to say?
    Cheers,
    Colin

You on holiday in the lamd of the Fascist rulers of the world?
You have to watch those cops around Bakersfield.- Scary Mofos.
Good Sports shops. - Good gun sections.
Their American Whiskey tastes a lot like their beer - Horse Piss.
I reckon they might strain it through used stable straw.
Good for you that you know how to drive on the wrong side of the car. Just have to adapt to keeping it on the wrong side of the road.

I regularly drive a left-drive car so it wasn't too much of a bother, driven over here a few times - not sure about who gives way when turning right over here but at least there's no do-gooder KBer watching me and telling me I'm doing it wrong.!!

And never had a run-in with da man but I can understand the attitude of Bakersfield cops - have ya seen some of its 'citizens'?

    Pan-hanlers, bums and druggies everywhere...

The person in the smaller vehicle gives way - natch.

The one person I remember was a gorgeous woman buying 44 ammo for her handgun.

I guess that was one of the points of the blitz. To keep unwarranted, unregistered vehicles off the road.

I guess you'll be receiving a letter from the Popos thanking you for complying.
