I think it's fair to say, I wasn't too bad, I only sped a bit more to get clear of the break water. I'm guessin he moved onto a bigger fish.
I am freindly really, I only bite when provoked

    uhm...
    it happened actually...
the problem is that we have very large number plates, and they have to be pretty visible, so the possibility that the cops read your number and wait for you at your door is huge.
then there is another problem: running is a crime here, so they are allowed to fire at you. truly is that not so many cops have the will to undergo a trial to explain why they have fired at you and if they have done everything perfectly, but you can never know, and having bullets flying around you can be annoying...
so, you have to be ABSOLUTELY confident to make it, and that they have no way to find you now and never, or they'd be "bitter dicks" as we say...

Not all cops are actually capable of using that sort of performance but one of our locals raced in the IoM, if he was after you you'd need to be really quick. Or really lucky.

italian HP has three of those...
but, aside the advertising tricks, the real problem is that they have no need to chase you at 250 kmh: they need just to call at the radio that you are going down that direction, and coordinate the action with the other cars...

PS: 3t, 1s, 4u... ???? what the hell are you talkin about????

    Haha Doh !!!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

3T - stopping a person, whether they be on foot, cycle or vehicle, to check details or deal with an offence.

    1S - sudden death.

4U - off at the POPO station dealing with a K9.

    K9 - arrest.

    So there.

i got some ear plugs but im not entirely sure im using them properly.

i roll em up and put em in fine. but im just not sure how far in... like i dont want it to go rape my ear drum. sorry if that sounds stupid.
so i always have a tiny bit of it sticking out. but in the instructions on the back. it says i have to full yput it in so the end is flat against my ear.

but even with the lil bit sticking out my ear it still feels like its raping my ear. so i stopped using it

Go the moulded plugs... they're a perfect fit everytime, and there's nothing sticking out to snag on your helmet... bliss. Try plugs4lugs, no complaints here.

Got away with it once on TZR 250 in the country and twice in my cars but that was in the late 80s and early 90s these days the technology usually gets you not to mention the speed the plod cars can do now, was fun back then wouldn't be keen on it now.
Hopefully that means I've grown up but also got kid's I wan't to see grow up.
