Actually it happened only a couple years before I joined the car sales industry, but it certainly tightened up test drive procedures. My point is, just accepting that the vehicle someone turns up in or on is actually there's may not ring true. Honestly, you could still employ this tactic now, but you would want to say you're either keeping the vehicle or have it sold elsewhere otherwise they will run a security check on it immediately and find out the true ownership.
Heard this on the radio today here in the Naki...!!! Mistakes and all - its all been said.......
Full story Nats... might help even more....?
You're getting married, your bloke sells bike so the wedding can be paid for. Arse biscuit steals the bike and if that wasn't bad enough - then the clanger.............. no insurance................!!!!!!
I hope it gets sorted and returned real soon for you both, so the plans don't go down the gurgler...... and may the arse biscuit spend many an eventful night as Bubbas bitch man whore, rented out to the cellblock neighbours......
Selling the bike to pay for a wedding?, that is just plane wrong!!!!!!!!
the art of diplomacy is saying nice doggie,
until you find a big rock
real shame! your bike was high on my watchlist.. only failing grace was its not green. hope you get it back in one piece or your insurance doesnt do the big exit and claim failure to protect insured item in all. (which sorry to say they probably will)
Best place to stay in Hawkes Bay here
Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

I had a towey looking at my bike the other day and said he'd tow it. He put his hand on the handle bar and my blood started boiling. I asked him to take his hand off immediately. Lucky he did because I would have done something stupid. Two types of people I hate in this world are thieves and tow truck drivers. I hope you find those fuckers that stole your awesome bike and pay them back with some serious retribution. Shit like this really makes me want to get a snitch installed...
If any one gives me info that directly contributes to getting my partners bike back in one piece, we'll give you $1,000 cash! And if you knock him out, we'll give you an extra $500 ;P
Thats a huge downer guys...... man there is some rs'wipes out there!!
You have my eyes peeled in wellington and the wairarapa.
I had my car stolen 5 years ago and only paid the last of it off last month. (3rd party only... under 25, turbo moddified)
I know who.. and where the guy lives. So do the cops. They have nothing solid on him.
I hope you do better than me.
Good luck
holding the line...
Hey mate, what was this guy's name? Was it Mase??? Did he speak funny? Cause my bike was stolen in EXACTLY the same way tonight. Reason I found this post by you was cause he told me he had just recently sold a 2007 Blue ZX10, so I thought I'd google it and bingo! My bike is (was) a 2007 Yamaha R1, Black - Rego 83 YYF. My contact details are Alistair - 021776730. This took place in Drury (Auckland)
