stolen from meadowlands, auckland on friday 18 june approx 6:35pm. The guy saw the bike advertised on trademe and asked to 'test drive' it. His mate waited in the car for about 5 minutes after he left for the 'test drive' and then his mate in the car sped off. The car was a bmw 320i or 318i, 1987 - 1992, gold/champagne colour. He's a caucasian guy in his late 20's/ early 30’s, slim build, approx 6ft tall.

He also took my clst myth mc2 blue helmet (size small), dri climate pro black jacket (size large), and dri blizzard black pants (size xl).

Bike has no rear pegs and no pavilion seat. Minor scrape on right front fairing. Bike has done approx 25,600 kms.

It’s likely that the plates and vin number may have been changed (we have a feeling this guy knows what he’s doing). The bike might not even be blue anymore! If you have any suspicions what so ever, please let us know.

Next time get the cash first and his license in your hand so if he crashes it he owns it.
Maybe you should of taken note of the numberplate of mates vehicle too

This guy has stolen 7 bikes so far from around Auckland that we know of. Thankfully, 2 of them have been recovered. Not ours though!! but there is still hope.

All I will say at this stage is that the theif is a DUMBASS and made some really dumb mistakes!! (Lucky for us). And it's not long now until he's being raped in prison.

this is of course the ideal outcome, just hope the judge is not a namby pamby sympathetic tosser who thinks this person (or persons) is genuinely sorry & can be rehabilitated & that prison would be unduly harsh.

As for the thread starter.... my god I feel for you, I really do. Usually the people who have bikes stolen have insurance and it is not too bad reading these threads. Probably spent what... 16 grand on that bike? Just taken away like that. No words for it.

But really people, what the fuck is it with so many folks practically giving away thousands of dollars of machinery?? Are you all just millionaires or waht? Honestly, even for falling apart- pieces of shit 250 cbr's I have always withheld keys for a car or money in hand.
