Use a picture of the (whatever, Beehive for example), and 'where is it'. Is harder to google a picture. (yes, I know about Google Goggles)

    How about this one?

What's the name of the motorcycle racetrack found in Feilding?

That way we can eliminate from the get go all those who don't know how to spell Manfeild!

What city is the beehive in?

This may prevent some bikers from other country's from registering, but since this is a Kiwi biker site, I'm not really worried about that.

I might look at making it rotate between a number of questions, so if you have any suggestions, post'em here.

Do you want to keep out potential visitors from other countries? We do seem to get quite a few enquiries on here from such people...seems a shame to me if they miss out...

The answer is not that hard to find in Google if they're willing to look.

I googled 'beehive' ( nothing else) and the first 5 entries on rhe first page were our beehive. Imcluding the wiki article giving its exact address . Not sure if thats good or bad.

If Google knows you're in NZ, then it will come up first.

    A couple of new Questions.

    Which Island contains NZ's capital?
Where does the Southern Cross appear most in NZ?

The second one may catch out some kiwis.
