Is a rev counter required to pass a WOF? (GS500)

Just a quick one - my rev couner cable snapped a while back - i don't really miss it, but does the wof tester think it's imortant?

if is it required - does anyone by chance know where I can get hold of one cheap?

    Cheers

    Jon

No. Bear in mind, many bikes don't even have one. You must have a speedometer (odometer bit doesn't have to work , though)

cool. I hoped that. However, I know a guy who's car rear wiper was rusty - they told him a rusty rear wiper would fail his wof. However, a rear wiper isn't essential anyway, so he took it off - then is wasn't rusty, and passed...
I'll take it in tomorrow, hopefully it's all ok.
