I thought it was pretty hard to buy a bad 600 sportsbike new these days? All the reports I read seem to depend on what criteria the particular magazine rates the most important as to which bike wins. Seems you decide what rocks your boat, what looks the best (in your opinion) and what fits the budget. And if I had some spare coin - I'd be looking out my office window at a green 05 636 right now. My partner agrees - says the green is the best colour (second only to black - but do they do a black 636?)

Well done Quas, excellent choice mate

I think they call it a Titanium Black, not black enough for me, so I went for the green

hey thanks guys for all the best wishes and stuff, i hope to pick it up in the morning along with a few nice accessories, you know to colour match a bit.

It will be the first bike that I have ever owned which is new, Im 40 years old and reckon I deserve it. I will love her and look after her I promise, but she will obey me !!

have to say a Big thanks to my awesome wife Paula fembot #1, what a honey she actually said to me "I reckon you should get that 999" how is that for the perfect girl, I ask you ? I could have brought it but that would have meant monthly payments so I flagged the idea, next time I will have a 999 though for sure !!

Fuck Im in a Good mood !

Too late! That was your moment, and you missed it!

Like me - the vifferbabe wanted us to buy a near-new VFR800, but it was one of them ones with the VTEC bollix. Iffen I'd been smart, we would've gone next door to check out Triumphs, then off to AMPS to check out Aprilias and Triumphs. Went there the other day, and she was VERY impressed with AMPS's stock, and it sounded like a replay of when we bought the VFR (same sort of oohing and aahing, etc.) but when I started to think, "Kewl! Might be able to trade the VFR in!", she went: "No! You're not getting another bike!"

    Dang.

    Enjoy your new ride, Dude.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Reckon all us Hammy boys should roll by your place sometime to help you 'christen' your new beast.

I was gonna visit also, but now me scared
Tha Jandal: Adding another dimension to "rubber side down"

Jandal [jan-duhl] noun: a mythical entity presiding over bikers
Jandal [jan-duhl] verb: "to jandal" is to involuntarily separate from one's boik.
Jandalled [jan-duhlled] past tense - usage: "bro, I've just gone and jandalled it"

don't have black 636s. They have blue, green, 'burnt orange' (I think) and/or red, and titanium silver, which is meant to be the special, but don't really see much special in it, except it's a matt finish instead of gloss.

The ZX10 comes in the same, but instead of silver, it's black..

fairly sure that's this years' dress code..
