John wright talked about this himself. he said to me. i cant say how long it will take because it depends on you. some people take 2 hours, some people take 4 hours. so you're own personal learning skills are the variable
It is very easy to fail the test!!!
The test is based on a demerit point system.. 5 points or more & you fail.. & for example.. looking down at any time is 3 points... having a high wrist is 2 points.. putting a foot down is 3 points.. contacting a marker in the cone weave is 4 points.. failing to use front brake in the quick stop is 5 points... not looking through the curve is 3 points.. etc etc..
points can add up VERY quickly.. & it is very common for people to over estimate their level of skill.. & under estimate the level of actual skill required to pass the test successfully!!![]()
Roadsafe have a 98% pass rate when people do our training courses before they sit their BHS test! the other 2 %... well.. some people just shouldn't ride bikes....
