I reckon we should have a sticky with shop info.

Bits4bikes is an awesome website that unfortunately does not ship direct but through your local shop, problem is if you shop online you ( normally ) want home delivery.

I get they are trying to not sabotage shop sales & i do appreciate that effort, but it's a bit like being a politician trying to plesse to many people, you end up pleasing no one ( unless your real goal is a website for shops primarily to use ).

The yanks seem to have gone for embedded supplier sites inside your shop site, it seems, not sure that is the answer either to be honest.

I reckon dedicated Internet terminals in the shop might be an idea, clamp the sites to this & a few others & clip ticket on sale & be there for advice, it'd pull people into the shop, which might be a mixed blessing .

they do ship direct now, they changed the way you do it, it used to go through the dealer and they shipped it out,
now the dealer processes the payment and it ships direct saving at least a day in teh process,

you select one of your local dealers who are part of it, or if you go directly off a dealers site onto that it ships from there,

their site says shipped straight to your door, except for the more volatile items.

I haven't used b4b yet as most stuff I can get cheaper from international shops like this one for v twin modding, but for batteries and other items hard to internationally ship they seem the best option out there.

Looked at getting a BMC air filter thru that site, looked at the price listed, went to the dealer and picked it up $50 cheaper at the dealership!

I asked if they had a parts listing and the next day they had my model loaded.

While they offer a convenient service it still pays to shop around.

Well the site did its job.... You found the filter on there site and you purchased it through the dealer who still purchases off whites, they would offer it at retail I would imagine as they dont want to undercut there dealers
