Watch John Campbell tonight TV3 at 7:00 PM tonight

He is doing a story on the increasing cost of ACC to New Zealanders.

This issue is not dying. It's fast becoming a very large and cumbersome Albatross for the National Party.

Luckily there are a few of us sitting in the wings to capitalise on that

Don't worry no one will be watching - Close Up on the other channel are doing something on John Banks $400 credit card expense.

By crikey he really got stuck into them with his muzzle didn't he? Showed them his gums and all.

    Cheaper than advertising for ACC...

Campbell you wimp. Why did you drop the question about whether the current income was paying for claims.

Fucking NZ journalism needs a bullet.

Does seem strange how they are charging more for a vehicle just cos it's deisel, seems to me they are grouping other factors in with that somehow as they did for the 600cc division. Was it just deisel vans, or do deisel cars get hit too? my flatmate has one. The adding of $180 would require some sort of advanced warning though wouldn't it, or did they slip that under the radar when the bikers were having a whinge?

i felt he dropped that because the other guy was saying bout paying for past and future, would have been good if he got stuck in about the whole future funding issue though, maybe that was a no-go area for the interview? see if he'll try again in a few weeks I reckon

well it does highlight that its not just motorcyclists (dont know if that helps)

not impressed with the skip over 600cc+ motocyclists

ACC guy seemed nervous but wasnt capitalised on nearly enough

As John says "welcome to the show" ! Entertainment value only. What ever happened to journalists asking the hard questions. I note the usual "motorists are cross subsidizing motorcyclists" trotted out with a predictably stunning lack of challenge. Yes and where was the over 600cc rort?

I reckon he traded his balls to get his own show. He's fucking gutless these days
