Napier - bike- could someone have a quick look at it for me please!

    Hey guys!

I was wondering if someone had a spare 1/2 hour to shoot round and have a quick look and listen to a bike for me before I pay for it over the internet.
I don't want a mechanics report but just want to know if its generally as presented, doesn't chuff any blue smoke and doesn't sound like its going to rattle to bits in the next week. I'll take the risk on anything else.

Its a good deal, there's a dent or two to fix and the guy sounds genuine and honest but I still don't want to be stuck with a lemon.

    In Greenmeadows Napier.

    Thanks in advance!

    Yep, I'll do it.
    PM me the details....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I'd just like to publicly thank MSTRS for all his help in checking out this bike.
Went to see it, checked up with the local shop about it, and sent me lots of emails and txts.

True KB spirit, as I have never even met the guy!!

    Thanks mate!!

I'll even give yer wife a big hug for all you've done for me!! LOL!!!

Have a good ride up!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!

No worries. The day is fine and the road beckons. It'll be fun. And only too pleased to help. It's called giving back or paying forward or something.
And you're too late - I gave her one last night...

ok then here she is? My very first Suzuki!
I've owned nearly everything else but never really been a Suzi man, good bikes but there design has never appealed right from the Kat days to the Busa and GSX??

    The good
Under $5k, yoshi pipes, original pipes still in the box, spare new front tyre with it, scott oiler, 39,000k, full service done 3 months ago.

    The bad
Tank dent, fairing on one side scratched, one Yoshi a bit banged up!
All fixable as I was a panel beater by trade in my younger years! So I'll sort that soon!

I'd been looking at CBr900 and ZX9R's but couldn't even buy a reasonable 98 for that money so this will do fine!

At least I'm back and she should do up OK!!

I'm stoked just to be back on the road! I just didn't want to do up the Z1 as a daily hack so this fits the bill just fine!

SO who's coming for a ride!!!!!

Well...I've never been so disappointed in all my life. First I have to check out a bike. Then I have to ride the thing 500kms to deliver it to the new owner. And then, of all things, he insists on paying for the gas.
I feel used, abused and ripped off.
