    Road sign for bikes

A nice motorcycle road sign spotted on the Featherston side of the Rimutakas. I had to get a pic.

I thought illegal street racing was the whole purpose of owning a sports bike.

It's kinda weird how the sign looks transparent. A good message though.

    Steve
"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

We've had that sign down here too for a while. Every summer they put a range of them between ChCh and Akaroa. Anyway, it's a Ducati ST in the sign, that's definitely not a race...

So the question is, did you?

I would imagine on that bike, on that road, the answer is

Dude you obviously havent been over the tukas for a while. At the rate they are destroying it access will be 4X4 or dirt bike before they finish the re-alignment.

So thats what our 3o bucks on the new licence charges buys us!! That should save a few lives.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a pic and then did a sedate ride up the hill as shown in this video.

I noticed that one when I was down there earlier this year. Meant to get a pic on my way back from Akaroa but went right past it....

Probably not the only ones around...
