Kicking in the Door: Pt 2.

Missed the chance to take out a wing mirror this morning when some clown in his cage decided he didn't want to wait for me to reach the right turning lane before he passed inside me - at high speed with about 30cm clearance. This on a narrow rural road...I debated following him and booting his door but decided there was little point...

You need a rotating hip if you kick ANYTHING, I kicked an empty 10ltr paint pail off the road at 40 odd kph. I can think of easier less painful ways ways of getting a laugh from the bikes following, didn't even get a thanks for clearing the road!

Some driver pulled out right in front of me (driver didn't indicate or look before changing lanes) while I was passing the car. Makes me doubt my riding ability sometimes ...

well, you remained on your bike, without incident. I reckon that means you have good riding ability. In the future when this kind of thing happens again and again, you can learn to anticipate the stupidity of other drivers. Just keep riding with eyes wide open.

I haven't been riding along time myself but one thing I have noticed in my short time on 2 wheels is that nearly everyday I am going to meet some driver with "issue" towards bikes, always trying to get in front of me, following too closely or just trying to bully me out of the way. Its just something you have to learn to deal with in your own way. Personally, I try hard not to get angry, because it happens so often I will just stress myself out. Riding a bike is fun. I am not going to let some cunt give me a hernia just because they have bike envy.

play, then let them past. Next traffic light, filter right to the front. Gives me the giggles every time, but evidently I'm easily amused

very tempting...but of course i would be farrrr too polite to bait a cager like that...

Looking back on it, the dude yesterady might have been annoyed that he got left behind a bit further back up the road...quite unintentional of course you unnerstand!

An oncoming car decided to pass a slow truck on a blind corner..

I went between the car and truck, the passenger mirror on the car erased my left hand mirror.

"Oh my god are you ok ?", "hey yeah, you nearly killed me but sure, I'm fine, have a good day.."
