    So happy to hear that. The helicopter was still out when i got home, and people with their quad bikes were all heading back into town. Thank goodness for this news! After a weekend of unfortunate incidences, this outcome is of course very very welcome.

    We just got back bout a hour ago from searching from Karapoti to Orange hutt on our motox... we couldn't find anything and ran out of light towards the end which stopped us searching... best of luck to upper hutt SAR..

    he was disorientated and got lost .. once he realised that he was in trouble he wrapped up and tried to keep warm!

    I'm very glad to hear this event didn't turn out to be the third victim in a row this weekend.
