Buy the best 06+ you can get for your money. don't worry about the colour, just make sure they have maintained it well.

I totaly agree with Rupe, when one is on a budget, the color does not matter. Once you have found something you like, let someone with some mechanical knowledge look over the bike.

    Life is about having fun.

yep agree the condition of the bike matter more than the brand if your buying second a hand four stroke!

Sammy - Get Barty to look it over and give it a compression and leak down test!!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

it comes down to which of the 2 you could live with, Green or Red, as the others have said it doesn't matter, most important part is if they are mechanically sound. Ive always liked the Honda, but i found that the Honda was always a little dearer than other Jap brands, so only got what a could afford, but haven't been disappointed
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
