Making my KTM 200 EXC Road legal

Im planning on making my KTM 200EXC road legal, Ive got all lights and electrics sorted and now just need some wheels. Does anyone know where I can get some wheels or what wheels will fit? or wether I can make some road wheels fit?

    Any help is much appreciated

Why not stick road tyres on the existing rims? Unless you want to motard it the 21" front will handle ok on the road in which case you get a 17" rim laced onto the existing hub (assuming it will clear the caliper)

May be worth asking this question in the motard forum, they may have more knowledge of what fits but picking the 200EXC for road use isn't your "normal" behaviour, I wouldn't attempt to run mine on the road.

To be honest I really just cant afford a road bike and a dirt bike. If push comes to shove Ill just get road tyres but then ill have to change them every time I go Offroading which will get very annoying.

No cheap easy way to do it, either new ones at $2K+ for all the bits for a quick swap, or head to the wreckers with a ruler & be prepared to get spacers/ hubs/ adapters machined up.

Changing tyres should only add 30min to the time it takes to swap wheels once you're in practice. Bridgestone BT-45's come in 21"/18" & go pretty good on the road.

    Cheers

I can confirm that. approx 2-2.5 k for motard wheels and tyres. You will probably need new sprockets and possibly bigger front brake for new front wheel?
